What's so special about Camp TimeOut's Denver area camp?

Camp Highlights:

Let's be honest, we're going because Joy and Claire will be there.

Your favorite podcasters are certified CrossFit® Level 2 trainers, so they'll be coaching some of the fitness challenges!

Joy and Claire are planning to record an episode of Girls Gone WOD® live from camp, so you might have an opportunity for a front-row seat.

The camp property is located on 160 acres of wilderness and has a variety of hiking trails into the canyon area of Pike National Forest.  You can hike to an old helicopter crash site on Day Mountain, take a fishing pole on a hike to Cheeseman Reservoir, or splash across creeks on the Canyon trail.

A live DJ will help keep you moving during the more intense fitness challenges.

Take aim on the archery and riflery ranges.

Fun team-based competitions (scaled for all ability levels) will be offered including a hill climb/polar plunge and an ALL-CAMP ADVENTURE RACE

Want to get your heart racing?  Try the high-ropes course, rock-climbing and rappelling.  You get to practice before the adventure race on Sunday!

There is a beautiful brook that runs through camp.  Find a sunny spot next to the water and read and relax with a good book.

Gagaball pit!

Arts and Crafts:  plein air painting, an art social and a nature sketch hike

Evening bonfires with s'mores, craft beer, and wine...set against the backdrop of an expansive mountain view.

Incredible stargazing (the photo below was taken from the ballfield at camp).

Your phone won't work.  Camp is in the boonies, and we have a landline available for emergencies, but you'll be forced to unplug.  Campers typically go through about an hour of panic and withdrawal symptoms before experiencing a deep sense of relief.

What a feeling of community in such a brief time. As a busy single mom, it was exactly what I needed, and I was completely recharged after the weekend.
